I’ve just realised that I wasn’t receiving notifications for comments.

Because of this, there were dozens of comments that went unanswered because I simply didn’t know they existed. My apologies for this.

What happened was that the SendGrid service I was using to send emails was bought by Twilio and I wasn’t aware of it. I should have migrated the old account to Twilio, but I didn’t do so because I wasn’t aware of the change. And at some point, SendGrid’s SMTP server must have stopped working.

Anyway, I did find it strange that there were hardly any comments on the site, but I simply thought people were being less active. It turns out that wasn’t the case. The few comments I did reply to were ones I found directly on the page.

I apologise to everyone who didn’t receive a reply. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to reply to all the comments that were left unanswered. However, I replied to many of them before I’d sorted out the issue, so you won’t have received a notification of my reply either.
